Hi,
I am having a problem with my stage one 3 door Cossie. When I accelerate the car dies in mid revs and backfires with black smoke. It's not too bad when I don't accelerate too hard.

I have fitted new plugs and ones which were running well in a mates car but the problem is still the same.

After driving, the plugs look sooty instead of straw brown....

Any ideas??
