Would love some advice please.

While on holiday the dual mass flywheel went. The cost of repair was £900 and it came with a 2 year warranty. Now i've noticed the same symptoms again including the starter motor has had to be replaced. Problem is the garage is 200 miles away and he said on the phone its possible they would have to keep the car 2 weeks and there's a chance the warranty wont pay out.

Any advice would be really welcome as i haven't got a clue what to do.
