I need to fabricate a custom shape pipe from my intercooler to the inlet.
I was thinking about making it out of aluminium pipe that would have to be cut into lots of different angles and welded together, the other option i was thinking is, is it possible to make boost pipes from carbon fibre? I could mock a template up using something the right diameter such as card tube and then either buy a kit or find someone that could turn it into a carbon fibre item?
Will it hold the pressure?
Another thing, does the map sensor have to go in the inlet pipe or can it be remote mounted?
Cheers

the map sensor wants to be in the inlet plenum not the boost pipe. i would use 90 degree elbows for the boost pipe and cut them back to any angle you want .
