well ive got new acl bearings to fit to my zt,

my block is a 2.0 and has not got a centre cutout to locate thrust shell but my new shell has a tab so physically doesnt fit

i have a spare 1.6 block i just pulled sump off to check and the block has a cutout but the genuine ford shell doesnt have a locating notch

would you try to grind my 2.0 block to accept the locator tab on my acl bearing

or

file the tab off the shell as they never had a tab on the original ford shells
