You might not be able to and that's great for you and it's probably true - but it aint about you is it.
It's about the people who might want to buy the car and what they think.
If you don't need to sell it to buy another car I'd keep it and re use it in the future without spending anything other than maintenance, mot, tax and insurance.
Up to you aint it... it's your car and money.
