I have a dizzy on my mk1 xr2 that has a fixed advance curve . It was set as a fast road curve for use with twin 40s etc . Can any advance curve be timed to any engine ? Current spec is 1660 x flow , standard head , standard carb , 1300 pistons and a fast road cam Problem i am having is its pinking once the second choke is opened and can't seem to get the timing set right . Could it be a combination of fuelling and timing being wrong ?
