that's true the swirl pot linkage jumps off but they still run fine with out it connected i prefer the cdti over the 2.0-2.2dti. If your going too look at a dti take the top hat off the fuel filter housing and see if the diesel is black with oil if it is just walk away injector seals have gone in it.


for the dti engine there's 2 high blow and low blow high blow metal pipe runs over top of the engine low blow it runs round the side
