Mondeo is a far better car, but I wouldn't be buying a mid-sized Diesel car full stop, plenty of much better and more exciting cars out there for the cash.

I'm 19 so insurance plays a massive part in this. For instance I cannot insure an E46 320d (150bhp) and yet insurance on an ST TDCi is pretty reasonable!
