Investigating my ABS problems, I was shocked to find this had happened to the rear probe, it has been rubbing on the new ABS ring fitted by ford at the end of last year. Ford have assured me the probe is not the problem, but the opposite ring is causing the problems. This has now been replaced. They will put the first one fitted right under warranty, which I think is fair. So I will have two new rings when I get the car back tomorrow.
But they are adamant that the probe will not be affected by this damage??
The ABS light is of but it still makes a weird noise under slow speed braking, like an electrical buzzing.

On my other adventures, I found one of the rear springs was not seated right, so corrected this when I fitted the new rear top mounts.
