That was posted whilst I was composing my message.

You don't have a handbrake light! As I say there are two warning lamps (Which differs to other cars), you only have the (!) which is the low fluid warning light.

Usually the sensor has two wires, the sensor when the fluid is low enough closes the circuit, i.e. joins the two wires together completing the ground circuit for the bulb, thus illiminating it.

I THINK the 12V will be the bulbs connection, in which case, if this is grounded the light should illuminate, I don't know what the 3rd pin is used for off hand, as a disclaimer as with anything on a forum you try this at your own risk!
