We've had a rolling road session today and have been told that the Zetec in our 100e is running too lean. We took it from a 130HP escort SI and fitted everything complete with ECU, loom etc. It showed 88 HP on the dyno. This was a tad dissapointing but how can it be lean when we haven't altered it, How do we 'fatten' it up and where has it lost the other few horses?
We also fitted a superchip whilst there and this made a miniscule difference, why?
