Nothing has been mentioned so far about the types of food or any mention of the digestion rate. Also what works for one doesn't work for another.
The trouble is when we talk about "meals" it appears that we mean fuck off plates of food as most people relate the word meal to a full on one. In the BB world a meal is 200g of chicken and some brocholi or carbs of some sort. Not really enough to fill a normal person, or be seen as a normal meal.
I have to agree that at the OP's stage in training and seriousness then getting into it too deeply isn't warrented. Stating he must eat 6 meals just isn't valid for this case. He wants to put on a few lbs first, thats all. A simple carb hike would help with that.
