I'm that case no, I've brought a s2 that's in great condition but even on the first day of driving after it being stood so long I'd developed a fuel leak, oil leak. Had wrong fueling ecu, wrong plugs etc. These sort of cars require attention to keep them in good form. If u just leave things and don't fix them the car will be fucked in a short period of time.

After a whole day of pissing around it runs great but need to find a new fuel tank

My advice is keep the Mondy if its intended for an everyday car
