Yes i have removed 2 gold coloured clips that slot over the rod. If thats all that holds the rod in place then il have to just hsve another go. I also noticed there was a flat on end of the bar, dont suppose that has to be in a certain position?
The bar needs to be pulled out with the flat piece coming out last, it's the flat that stops the bar coming right through.
Hope that makes sense?
It may pull out toward the centre of the car, it's been ages since i did one, but definatly the flat last!
