hey all i wanna buy a car with my mate and do some track days

first i only wanna spend 400 ish what car would you recomend am only after cheap fun realy.
would the car need tax or mot?
am prob gonna borrow a trailer for the 1st time and if we enjoy it and its not mega expensive ill poss buy a trailer.
any help and advice would be appreciated
