I've asked for details on the car (previous owner details) so I can verify service history and if it was a lease or rental car. Don't think the 06 had the DPF reading into it. Just 08< seemed to. If it has had regular services, looks and drives well then it may be possible as it would probably end up as a stop gap to something powerful again (like the Leon Cupra R a lot) as mine is such a specialised car, the market is so small but more and more people want diesels for the mpg. I've emailed all the usual culprits in the lease/hire market as well as the garage the current owner bought from so we shall see.
