hi, ive a 2002 Focus T230, recently failed the mot emission test due to CO being way above limit, this indicating it is running very rich, anyone have any idea the cause of this ?

also there is no catalytic converter in the exhaust system, this im certain is not the reason for high CO but just wondering are all the montune developed T230's without them ?
