the 2.2 is actually a completely different engine to the 2.0.

I've had both and the 2.0 was a little problematic, had to change the DMF but to be fair, the car had done 80k at the time, also had injector problems.

I'm onto my second 2.2 and touch wood, I've had no problems other than a slight hunt on idle from cold. Never found out what it was though and tbh it didn't bother me as it was gone in 2 mins.

Both good engines and both carry their fair share of niggles.

If I had to choose though, it'd be the 2.2 every time!
