Ive also wanted to know about the Sierra RS500. With it having 8 injectors could/did they all run off the standard ecu and is the ecu which is the same as the Fiat F40.
As said they run 2 ECU's, each managing one bank of cylinders, the same as the Maserati (430) Bi-turbo etc.

With the RS500 I seem to remember something about Bosch being involved? So maybe a different ECU, or something in addition added to the standard ECU? Remember as well the road cars were different from the race cars, as in road trim they were never connected!
