My temp gauge doesnt go to tha half way point more like a 3rd across. I ignored this and just thought must be ok. I

I also noticed my oil temperature doesnt go up. Prob and mm or 2 of movement from the bottom. I ignored this until yesterday when they both went to the halfway point on the way home.

The next day they were back down to the usual positions.

Any idea what could be causing this?
