so is it just that the holes in the bushes are simply too small to fit over the lugs then?

if so, how were they tested?

i think it's probably the original hole size spec'd for the standard drop link when made in poly simply won't flex as much to go over the top, whenever i fitted my standard drop links i always used a g-clamp to wind them back on again
