Yes so thin sheet ali all round the intercooler and rad, tig welded. the sheet can be shaped to accommodate for the different sizes of the rad and cooler, then I could scrap the intercooler mounts as the rad mounts should be up to the job for both... I think most of the air from my fans escape between the intercooler/rad gap instead of being forced through the rad... so less cooling. I know a guy who's getting pretty good at tig welding too
