I've thought about registering with etis and getting up-to-date IDS for my auto locksmith business, but the cost involved may be too much. Esp as I may only do 2 or 3 Keys in a month?! Etis wants a monthly fee etc. As well as annoying forms for every key programmed.

I use an Advanced Diagnostics MVP for pre-coded access stuff (PATS1, PATS2, early PCM etc) and it works fine.
But I'm also having bother with CAN BUS protocol ECU's.

My Key programmer prompts an outcode, similar to IDS, and requests an Incode to be entered via the keypad on my device.

I've seen an INCODE / OUTCODE Calculator for sale on some chinese OBD website:
http://www.cardiag.co.uk/ford-outcod...00-tokens.html

And also an OBDII lead with an Incode display unit like this:
http://www.cardiag.co.uk/ford-mazda-incode-tool.html

Has anyone used this sofware/device before? I've seen a few reviews and it does seem to work.

I have incode/outcode software to work with the ad100, t-300 and MPV Key programmers. It doesn't need tokens or a dongle or Etis.

Drop me a PM and I will sort you out.
