hi there, im in the process of changing the cv joint and track rod ens on my escort mk4. on full lock theres a prenounced ''knock/knock' and im guessing its cv. however im new to cars and wondered what type ball joint splitter works best on the escort, the forked type or the sciscor type. id also realy appreciate any advice on whats need tool wise and any hints tips. the track rod ends, i can see there self explanotary and im aware of keeping the geomatry the same ect. the thing im really dreading is the cv. im also fitting some newer spax all round. many thanks everyone happy new year. matt
