I'd love one myself but as I do such silly mileages on my drives back and forth to Scotland I can't chance any breakdowns.

Like what's been said above it can happen to any car but these old pd passats and golfs seem to go forever.
Mine did 175k and drove as new,it was easily the roughest one I'd seen as well!!!
