Pd passat/a4/a6 estate is a much better car in nearly every way,but they are pricier.
My mate has a 54 plate tdci with 78k on the clock and sounds as rough as a dog.
He bought it cheap but is now being offered next to nothing on p/x as their rep in the trade is so bad.
Not for me,get either the vw's listed above or a Volvo d5.
