Nothing like a bit of petrol to lubricate your bearings.

It may of course, not be a stage 1 setup at all. Could be a stage 3 / 3+ and just had a leaky/faulty injector. Although you would have seen this when looking at the plugs?? I doubt all 4 injectors would have been faulty.
