yeah its a pretty big engine, i can give you dimensions if you want so you can get a rough idea, and yes the dry sump is the only reason otherwise it would foul on crossmember and steering rack, ive had to recess the bulkhead loads too for the depth.
As far as im aware the mazda wont fit, its all a mix of volvo and custom parts, and lots of r&d.
