i prefer 3 door sierra replicas not so much the escort cosworth replicas would rather have a rs2000 unless it was converted to 4x4 with the running gear which ive seen done on 2 but surely would soon add up to over the price of the real deal? another reason id rather have a 3 door sierra cos rep is most cosworths are geting on for 25 years old now? and allmost all have had the chav abuse over the years put back together poorly and then go bang after having them for a while and you end up puting another 3k into it rebuilding the engine gearbox and diff again, which is why ive bought all new parts to build mine from scratch as itll look the same go the same but say something different on the log book, ive prob put about 5k into parts for a rust free 3 door shell now and its almost ready for puting together another 2k and itll have a nice paintjob and cleaned up underside so around 7k for a mint rep with all new parts and a fresh paint job, not far off the going rate for a genuine cosworth that will need new parts no doubt within a year of owning it
