I think Chip is a good part of the forum and his knowledge would be a big miss. He often tries to help folk out and is very good at technical discussion, on the rare occasion PF sees such a topic .

IMO the infraction points handed out for telling Eagle to wind his neck in was an over reaction on Eagles behalf. Being told to wind your neck in is not abuse in my eyes and if you feel it is then you must have led a sheltered life. Had he added something like "you twat" on the end then I would have saw no issue with him gaining an infraction and it would have been fair to do so.

I do think Chip could have worded his post about going from T4 to T34 in Mo's thread a little better but I didnt see a problem with it. It was a perfectly sensible question with a slightly sarcastic tone to it but thats the type of bloke Chip is and the way he posts. Its not like he went out of his way to be a dick about something.

Chips thread calling Eagle a prick did however deserve to be moderated, it was obviously an anger/frustration fuelled thread for what I believe was over moderation on Mo's thread post.

The forum seems to go through phases where anyone and everyone is getting infracted and banned for silly meaningless things when no one dares post incase they get targeted, then after a short while it will go back to being a good place and all will be well for a time. Then the, what feels like to many users, excessive modding will begin again and it goes to shit again.

I know its been said many times before but the modding does seem to be very inconsistant on here.

Just to add, I dont know Eagle or Chip and have nothing for or against either of them Im just voicing my opinion as a forum user.
