Yes it will definately have "corrected" upwards as a result (when in fact at 24 degrees it should have actually pulled down slightly rather than pulled up massively, as 25 degrees is the base figure), as I beleive the dyno dynamics rollers are probably using the standard SAE J1349 August 2004 revised formula:
Trouble is, even if it actually WAS 37 degrees that day (which clearly it wasnt really) that formula is only intended for use up to 35 degrees in the first place, its not considered accurate beyond that and im not aware of any other formula that can claim accuracy at those temps either.
It would have clocked under 700bhp though if the temperature probe was used as DD intended, so I guess thats a big motivation to misuse it when your so close to such an "important" figure, as no one wants to tell people their car is 690 instead of over 700
Or maybe it was just an honest operator error and they dont know how the rollers are meant to be used, just cause it happened to go in their favour so much isnt proof they were trying to be dishonest, they may just be incompetant.
