OK Guys. To do this conversion properly, you need to remove all the hubs, drill the original Bolt Holes out to allow the new studs to be a tight press fit (from the back of the hub). The shank of the Stud is splined. It can be done with the hubs on the car, but its not really worth it as its not hard to remove the hubs. The studs MUST be knocked fully in, otherwise your wheel tightening torques may be affected. In any case, they must be checked a couple of times after a few miles, as you normally would.
This conversion is the BEST way to do it. As I said above, I can do some other conversion studs that simply screw in, if anyone wants to do it the easy way, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm afraid I don't have any piccies, but it looks factory once its done properly.
As for the height of the head of the Stud, I dont have a stud handy, but I think its around 5-8mm.
The Studs are 13mm Longer than a Standard Ford Stud, this will be fine on a Standard Car, because the nuts are deep enough to take it. The studs can be supplied longer if needed or indeed cut down if you want them shorter.
Hope this helps.
For those that are interested, I will need to know exactly what you want so I can get it all ordered. So far, there is interest from :-
