Anyone got any recommendations for good performing computers on the market at the minute, preferably around £400-500

Ben.
If you can, the i5 2500k is being said to be the best system out at the moment for gaming at an affordable level. If you have some decent enough kit already (ie gfx/psu) and just need a few bits updating then it might be worth getting something like this which i shall be doing for bf3

It's a lot more cheaper to buy parts and get someone to build it for you like a friend or small computer business as most pre built systems will never have a decent setup unless you want to spend more then £700-800

There are supposed to be new processors coming out next month so prices for things like the i5 2500k might drop which is always good too.

feel free to post up a spec in here of things you find or for information from other forum users to get a spec for the budget you posted
