I thought the beam should move on the mounts up and down a bit when off the floor as the mounts are cone shaped and that's why some people use a flat poly rubber between mount and body to minimise the movement. The metal bush don't bolt the beam flush to the body.
Either way it's much nicer back on rubber I'm getting too old for a bumpy car
