I use the Meguairs yellow sponge applicators to apply srp and wax etc!

You will know if you have used too much SRP as you will get white dusty residue, if thats the case use less! SRP goes a long way, and a litre bottle will last a long time!

I always finish off as said above with Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection. This is like a watery substance. You dont rub this into the paint tho, you lay it on in a thin coat in straight lines, leave it on for 30-45 mins depending on outside temperature and direct sunlight...it can be a bugger to get off if left too long in heat, so try to use it in the shade!
