Default Cossie Headlight problems - Escort mk6 van

Hi all,
Im new to the forum, been around searching now for a few days with a problem Ive got with my modified escort van, but had no luck finding the answer yet.

I know lots of people have converted the front ends of the mk6 escort van to mk5, and Ive done this, including the cossie lights, bonnet, grill and bumper etc etc.
However wiring up the lights has proved tricky! I have them wired up currently but something is definately not right. The main beam warning light is on when on dipped, and actually the dipped lights are crazy dim!
Ive tried loads of various rewiring attempts to see what I had messed up but this the best Ive got to now! Other attempts dont light enough bulbs, or anything at all.
Only wires I have redundant are the ones for the angle adjuster....as the mk5 headlights are now manual.
I was wondering if I need the relay out of the mk5/cossie, seen as these are the twin headlights?? and the van only had the singles? if that makes sense?

Electrics are not my strong point, so Im looking for any help thrown my way!
Cheers

Leigh
