Nope, not as far as I can tell! Soon as you touch the clutch pedal it pops as the timing is retarded just before it hard limits.
I think if you had the switch at the bottom of the pedal travel you would get slip but I fitted mine to the top for this very reason
Makes for very fast gear changes and it actually feels smoother than changing normally, really pleased!
