Had a decent size screwdriver in behind the sealing plate and tried to jimmy it pretty hard, getting worried that i might break the sealing plate.

Soaked it in wd40, gave the end of the crank a tap with a 2 pound hammer and still nothing mate,
I was in machine mart earlier and all the 3 leg'd pullers are too big, even the small ones. Saw this though; wiper arm puller

might be able to get it down the sides but its not long enough, might try to cut the arms and lenghten them.......
