Right, i`m thinking of building my own turbo up and saving a bit of cash. after shopping around seems a stage 3 is 650 - 700 notes. reckon i can build one up and get it balanced for about 500.

looking at the following: 0.48 exhaust housing, 360 thrust, 55 trim compressor wheel and general overhaul kit. plus a core balance when built up.

now for the questions, is the exhaust turbine standard? is the .42 comp housing left standard?

and kinda completely off line, my current .36 ex housing is shagged with huge cracks, if i put a .48 on there with the rest standard would it still boost ok with otherwise standard core? saves getting a 36 housing for now then the 48 when the power goes up.

just a thought?
