Looking at doing an underneath resto on my escort, what is the best way of removing all old paint/underseal? Is it a wire wheel on an angle grinder or something? Been looking at the resto section an everyone's doin it but not explaining how! Also, when it's stripped to metal, which order do I put the paint on! Primer then underseal then top colour? Or underseal first then primer as I've read a few people doin it different ways! This is my first ever resto an wanna do it right! Cheers!
I did mine in axle stands last summer - all i used was this on a grinder and only cost me £4!! - goes through it like a knife through butter - and then a scraper and wd40 to loosen the awkward to get to bits.
