Earlier this evening i was out at a restraunt with my sapph in the car park and some silly OAP caught the rear quater and bumper and smashed the rear light.

got his number and the bloke admitted fault etc but just wondering are they likely to write it off as ive heard they wont use second hand parts or filler etc and i dont think they will get hold of a new cossie rear bumper and will probabaly struggle to get a new rear quater or rear light

if the insurance do write it off will i be able to buy it back and do the work privatly cause i really dont want to lose my car.
