The "terms" of the hire which is what it is to the individual vary from car maker to car maker, and from model to model, I could get BRAND NEW frs if I wanted and put down the deposit the dealer wanted, the rules regarding money etc are NOT set by the government but the dealer/maker offering the car/s, they also get a hefty top up on this from the government, in addition to the DLA mobility award.
Some last 2 years but most are 3 years.
If you go over the mileage it can cost up to £10 PER MILE, for some exotic cars.
