i have no problems with chargcoolers... i would consider one myself is i ever went forced induction on my nova puerly because of the lack of space, its just that a cosworth is well suited to an air to air intercooler as it is so the added complications of a chargecooler is often unnessasary.
@ sierrafun.. what makes you think you would get no lag with a water to air intercooler? the type of cooler has very little effect on lag and only then because of the volume of the intake system...
in greece we cut the rs 500 intercooler t35 set up engine .we reduse the lag like that .the turbo was press air from 2300 not from 3000 before .i believe that the water intercooler is better because the inetrcooler is very very small ..0 lag .besides somebody can test in before use it .i mean about test pressure ..and water .some drag cars in greece they use it they work fine
