Hello all,

Just signed up to ask some "ITK" people for some help on something I'm sure a lot of you know about.

My dad has a 1996 "N" Mondeo MK1 with the above engine. It starts first time no problem, but when the engine hasnt been run for an hour or so it will only rev to about 2.2k to 2.5k. You can put your foot right to the floor but it will not go above those revs?

Within 5-10 minutes it's fine and will go all the way to the redline.
Although I believe this engine is supposed to have 105ps and IMO, it's no where near that even when it's not holding back.


Is this a problem you kind ladies and gents have experienced and fixed?
