The B engine sounds good had a 1.8 done the head with std cam an carbs you get about 90 bhp with boreing to 1.9 -1950 good cam an 45s or big SUs should be about the 150 mark maybe more. ho and sorry cannot agree to the revs I had cooper 998 A type tuned B type and rover v8 all rev very well just need to build them right.
to build em right starts to cost serious bucks trust me ive worked on mini's minors, migets and had few mgb's much cheaper and more reliable go for newer lighter engine.
