Its sad when mags have to stop doing things that people want. PF even got rid of their stats page just as if all those times/runs cannot now be talked about.

Interesting that some event still do take place. I know three events where 200mph runs happen. drivers signed a piece of paper saying that they were going to run & payed & agreed it with Brunters off there own bat. All drivers had this agreement with their own name on it. The organiser just collected all the papers / cash.
I doubt there is the will or the interest to ever run a Ford Thrash these days even if ways around the problems are found.
People moan & lots say they want to find the Topspeed of their car, well its only a phone call away so not hard.
