What comment did he apologise for?
Because if it was mine on here then its NOTHING to do with Jimmy so god knows why you were phoning him about it or why he would apologise for it, if you want to phone someone about it then PM me for my number instead don't hassle Jimmy or anyone else about it.
I go to the middlesex most months, I go to surrey most months, I go to essex about half the time and I go to kent occasionally as well, my comments arent made on behalf of any one other club though or accountable by the chairmen of any of the clubs I go to reguarly, they are just my own personal opinion as someone very much in the car scene who has been attending and helping with running car clubs for the last 15 years, who works as a motoring journalist, and who has NEVER in any of those contexts before seen a club chairman talk to a room full of members and prospective members (I brought 2 people with me for the night one of which has never been to essex before so that was his FIRST impression of the club!) in such a derogatory manner.
Ive had three different people PM me about my comments on here so far too, but they have only been purely in support of the fact that someone needed to tell you it and they are glad someone finally has done so, so you are mistaken if you think its only me that thinks its disgraceful that you would talk to club members that way.
So in future please, if you have a problem with anything I say, talk to me about it as the only person I am accountable to is myself!
