some people say only replace em with a new cam aswell,i say bull plop,replace em whenever.
as for wheel bearing,jack car up and check for side to side and up and down play at the rear ,with the handbrake off.
you should be able to hear which side its droning from,and for the sake of about £15,you may aswell just put a new bearing in.
easy job to do,and well worthwhile.
