after looking into the 6 degree rear beams that danny B /Ahmed b make. am i right in saying that looking at the pictures below from another thread.
the inner arm points have been moved further towards the front of the car thus making the angle that the arms are pivoted through to 6 DEGREES

because these are moved forward, there is alot less camber change as the arms move up and down through there arc. and with the adjustable rose joint this can be even less

to keep the wheel flat at all times to the road, a 0 DEGREE rear beam would be better suited. ie, for drag racing. so this means that moving that point even further forward would create this. (true trailing arm ) instead of a semi-trailing arm

but can a true trailing arm be as competitive through the corners? as it doesnt allow the toe or camber change as the car rolls through corners.

the reason i am asking this is because i'm going to make one that will convert it to true trailing arm as i want the best grip for 1/4 mile. but obviously it will still be a road car. i reckon i will see gains in grip over these setups. will there be any disadvantages for a fast road car

i know that danny b/ahmed rear beams are a very good bit kit and i can appreciate the time and effort that has gone into these setups being a welder/fabricator myself so am in no way knocking there setups.

i would like to hear all positive and negative comments for my proposed idea
