Ford will issue new software to replace the original and you use IDS or the older WDS to reprogramme , but the problem is you need the "in" code to unlock the ecu to enter the programme mode , and because this is so hard then most people will use a separate ECU that is so much quicker and more user friendly to alter each parameter on a lap top , so not trying to fog the question the answer I would give is Yes but No !!!!!!
